Dr. Gloria is an Imaginist, Mindset and Performance Psychologist, and Creativity Architect. Her work combines science, business and the arts to bring new perspective and ideas on the intersection of digital transformation, human systems, and the mindset humans need to compete in this new world. Additionally, Dr. Gloria offers techniques that help us leverage the healing powers of the imagination through poetry, music, acting, comedy, dance and many other creative modalities in the spirit of helping us Imagine, Create and Soar!
From a childhood of poverty on the harsh streets of Brooklyn, New York to positions at the highest executive levels in corporate America, Dr. Gloria shares that “my journey has allowed me to know my own mind and use my imagination to soar to heights no one would have predicted for me. Creativity saved my life because I honored my curiosity, my wonder and ingenuity.”
After successfully climbing the corporate ladder, leading the application of creativity, innovation and emerging trends through technology while winning awards such as the Most Powerful Woman in Banking, and the Business Alumnae of the year for her alma mater, East Carolina University, her curiosity was piqued by how our imagination works. She began researching, writing and studying the mind and imagination; the future of work; health practices using the imagination and earned a MA and PH.D. in Psychology with a focus in Creativity and Organizational Systems from Saybrook University, a humanistic psychology graduate school.
With a strong belief that to thrive in this culture of complexity whether an organization, leader, entrepreneur, creative artist or individual, we must understand our internal mind and emotions, or they will own us. Strong inner health and powering the imagination will drive our ability to compete and enhance our performance and potential.
As a multi-industry C-Suite executive in Health Care, Banking, Technology and Energy, Dr. Gloria is currently CEO/Founder, The Mousai Group- A creative experience company shifting minds of individuals, groups and organizations; CEO/Founder of Once Upon A Time, a private psychology practice using the creative arts; and President, Pipeline Partners- a start-up, energy company building socially sustainable training and middle-class jobs.
